Privacy policy
This page explains what personal information this website handles, why, who receives it and what your rights are. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
Who operates this website
This website, skegnessdampproofing.co.uk, is an introduction service operated by Patrick Robinson, 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA (the operator, referred to as we below). We connect damp proofing enquiries from this website to one vetted independent local specialist firm. We do not carry out damp proofing work ourselves.
What we collect and why
- Enquiry form details. Your name, phone number, the property location you select, the issue you select and any message you write. We collect these for one purpose: to pass your enquiry to the one local specialist who will contact you and quote. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating the introduction service you have asked to use, and taking steps at your request before any contract.
- Phone calls. Calls to the number on this site may be recorded. A short notice plays before you are connected, so you know before speaking. Recordings are used for quality checks and for vetting the standard of service the specialist provides to callers.
- Nothing else. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and includes no advertising or social media trackers. No consent banner appears because there is nothing non-essential to consent to. The only third-party request the site makes is loading its heading typeface from Google Fonts.
Who receives your information
Your enquiry details are passed to one vetted independent damp proofing specialist, who will contact you to discuss the work and provide a quote. That firm becomes a data controller of the details it receives and should provide its own privacy information. We do not sell your details, share them with marketing companies, or pass them to more than the one firm who will quote.
Service providers who host this website or handle call routing process data on our behalf under contract, and only as needed to run the service.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry form details: kept for up to 12 months from your enquiry, then deleted. This allows follow-up questions and complaint handling.
- Call recordings: kept for up to 6 months, then deleted, unless a recording is needed for an ongoing complaint or legal requirement.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to have your information deleted, to object to or restrict our processing, and to data portability where it applies. To exercise any of these rights, contact the operator using the details published on this site once incorporation details are finalised, or through the enquiry form marked for the attention of the operator.
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
